Reporting a conversion that went wrong
This is the most useful kind of message we get, and the hardest to act on without detail — because we never receive your document, we cannot look at what you converted.
Please do not send the file. Instead, describe it: roughly how many pages, whether it came from a word processor or a scanner, whether the page is one column or two, whether the part that failed was a heading, a list or a table. Then tell us what the converter produced and what you expected. If you can reproduce the problem with a document that is not confidential, saying so lets us test against something similar.
Known limits are listed on the About page, and a fault already described there is one we know about rather than one worth reporting.
Privacy and data requests
To ask what personal data we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is processed, write to privacy@mypdf2md.com. We acknowledge within five working days and answer substantively within thirty days.
One thing worth knowing before you write: a document converted in your browser was never sent to us, so there is no copy of it to request or to delete. What we may hold is described in the Privacy Policy, and for most visitors it is nothing at all.
Advertising and press
The web converter is funded by advertising through Google AdSense. For questions about advertising on the site, or for press enquiries, use support@mypdf2md.com and say which it is in the subject line.
We do not accept paid guest posts, sponsored links, or link exchanges, and messages offering them are not answered.
What we cannot help with
- We cannot recover, unlock or repair a PDF you have lost the password to.
- We cannot accept attachments — the form and both mailboxes reject them.
- We cannot convert a document for you; the tool is the whole service.
- We cannot advise on whether you have the right to convert a particular document. That is yours to determine.
